You are 32 years old. You have been in top football for many years. In the 4 biggest leagues. Do you ever feel you are better than you are now?

Simon Kjær: "No - I do not really feel that. I feel I have come to a good place in my life, and a good place in my career where I am challenged every day. At the same time, I also have the experience now that knows what I need to do because I have the greatest chance of success."



Simon Kjær: "My body has to be in the best shape so I can play. But at the same time, I'm still hungry. I still feel like I can keep optimising on small details, both physically and mentally in the game."

Simon Kjær: "I feel that all the experience I have taken with me from all the clubs I have been to, both off the pitch but also on the pitch. There I can contribute. There's no place I feel more secure than on the pitch. This is where I am at my best and the battles where it all stands and balances - where there is in reality also a lot to lose - this is where I find the most peace and security."
