Simon Kjær is Denmark's Football Player of the Year 2021 (Årets Mandlige Fodboldspiller). The award show was broadcast in Denmark on January 21, 2022. Read the English translation below.

The male football player of the year 2021 is Simon Kjær.

All of Denmark's captain Kjær shows world-class leadership skills during this summer's final round and he has his game on the field at the same level.

32-year-old Kjær plays perhaps the best season of his career for both the club and the national team.

That is why he is also nominated for Ballon d'Or and now for the male football player of the year in Denmark.
