The World Cup 2022 draw took place on April 1, 2022, and the captain of Denmark Simon Kjær has shared his thoughts about it. Denmark meets France, Tunisia and The United Arab Emirates, Peru or Australia for the World Cup in Qatar.
Simon Kjær: "We are very much looking forward to the World Cup and are proud to be playing against the best in the world.
We have got an exciting pool. It's great to meet France. A strong opponent, with whom we played 0-0 in the last World Cup,
and who we will face twice before the World Cup in the Nations League."
"Tunisia is a rare opponent for us, but it is always
interesting to meet teams from other parts of the world at a World Cup, and then there is an as yet unknown opponent.
We will travel to the World Cup to win every game. We dream of winning trophies with this team, and I think we can now say that we
will move on from this pool."
