Simon Kjær receives UEFA President's Award for his support to Christian Eriksen
Simon Kjær and the Danish medical team were honoured with the UEFA President's Award 2021 for their support to Christian Eriksen during EURO 2020.
During the UEFA Champions League draw on August 24, 2021, the following
video message of Simon Kjær was shown in which he says to be grateful for receiving the award.
And yes, let's say Kjær "supported Eriksen" instead of "saved Eriksen's life", as that's how
he likes to put it himself. "I didn't save a life, I helped out like all my teammates," Kjær says
in this video.
