Simon Kjær gives matchworn jersey to show appreciation

In July 2022 I received a message that Simon Kjær wanted to give a matchworn AC Milan jersey to show his appreciation for the effort I put into the website simonkjaergifs.com. I couldn't believe it! Back then, Simon was still recovering from his knee injury, so I knew I had to wait patiently for a while.

A few months later, in November, I received a message, that the jersey was on its way to me. I started to live next to my mailbox from that moment on. It really happened, on 16 November 2022. I got home from work, opened my mailbox and there it was, a white envelope with a Danish stamp.

At that point I didn't know yet, which AC Milan jersey it would be. A home, away or third kit jersey?

I opened the envelope and found Simon Kjær's absolutely amazing AC Milan home jersey. With his signature on the front and also one on the back. It's a size L. And the fabric is softer than you can ever imagine.

Randi receives jersey as well

Apart from me, also our Danish translator Randi received a similar jersey, matchworn and signed, as you can see in the picture below. She spends hours and hours translating Danish interviews into English, so that we non-Danish fans get to know what Simon says.

Randi, you deserve this jersey so much, you really do.

Thank you Simon Kjær

He didn't have to do this, but he did. Simon Kjær gave Randi and me a matchworn and signed jersey! It is hard to express how grateful I am. What a generous gift. I know that several people were involved to make this happen and I'd like to thank all of them from the bottom of my heart.

Both AC Milan jerseys are from season 22/23. Thank you, Simon Kjær.
